GOOD TO KNOW IN ADVANCE

  • Arrive at Cabanaconde the day before the date you're choosing
    to join us.

  • The accomodation included when booking one day is for the night prior to that day.

  • Transportation to Cabanaconde: Local buses departs from Terminal Terrestre of Arequipa at 4:00 AM, 12:30 PM and 13:00 PM.
    Touristic shuttle pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa (only city center, have to be booked in advance) between 3:00 to 3:30 AM.

  • Altitude is of 3500 meters / 1600 feet above sea level.

  • Weather in Colca Canyon is dry, hot and sunny during the day (20-25°C), might rain in the afternoon, and cold at night (7-13°C), please pack for both climates.

  • Currency in Peru is Peruvian Sol, marked as s/., some places in Peru do not accept credit cards, we advise you to bring cash, especially when you travel to villages. 

  • Self served teas, coffee, light snacks, fruits etc. will be provided in a spot in the guesthouse. If you have special dietary restrictions or preferences, please let us know in advance.

  • You're invited to join us for 4 days / 3 nights of hike into the depth of Colca Canyon after the experience! This hike is not included in the experience, you'll be responsible for yourself during those 4 days, you'll need to book for yourself accommodations (we can help you with that if interested). We offer that because we believe it will be fun to hike together after such a profound experience.

INCLUDED:

  • Accommodation for the night prior to the day you choose to join. If you join for 3 days, we include also the last night after our activities ends.
  • Breakfast, lunch, snacks during the day
  • All activities, tours and workshops


NOT INCLUDED:

  • Flights to Peru and / or to Arequipa
  • Transportation from Arequipa to Cabanaconde and/or back
  • Accommodation in Arequipa
  • Visa to visit peru (who do not need a visa)
  • Travel health insurance
  • Extra beverages
  • 4 days hike after the 3 days experience (you're invited to join us!)

WILL BE PROVIDED


WE WILL PROVIDE WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE EXPERIENCE ACTIVITIES:

  • Yoga mats
  • Art supplies (you're invited to bring your own)
  • Local costumes (for the Wititi dance)
  • Bicycles
  • In the rooms: linens, towels, soap, toilet paper, wifi
  • A map and information for the hike


WE WILL NOT PROVIDE:

  • Trekking shoes, clothes, hiking towels and /or bags
  • Trekking poles (can be rented at Pachamama Home)
  • Swimsuits
